I came to the world purple, almost suffocated with the words [music] of my mother invoking, "Oh God, let this child live." She is in me, tattooed in my genes. I'm a missionary. For the first time I saw the thin layer of ice underwater and went in by gut feeling and there I felt, "This is it." [music] Without words, the heart opened. You've broken 26 world records. [music] They said, "But you are the Iceman." No, I said, "Uh well, I can do anything anybody can do." Just follow your breath and enter into your body. This is the way we beat [music] a bacteria. It is simple. Breath doesn't cost anything. That's why I say just breathe, mother. Your wife at the time diagnosed with schizophrenia and then you got a call one day. She jumped [music] from eight stories. What can you say? You can't say anything. It's nothing. It's cold. I was broken, but I had to take care of my children. Society keeps on going like a fast train and you cannot mourn and I am going to change this world. I got that conviction. I'm a simple man, but I'm going to change the world. Know thyself. I know myself. I'm here to serve. Wim, it's so good to be here with you today. You've broken 26 world records. You've climbed mountains, ran marathons. You have so many incredible feats and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's a deep well of wisdom behind you, your practices that you share with the world. But where I want to start is actually way back. You came into this world as a surprise. The Iceman. Me? I was the second of the twins. And my name

2:00

And my name my brother's name is Andre. Like you. It's nice to meet you, brother. Nice to meet you. Spiritually, we are brothers. We are aligned. Our wavelengths go there. And that's great. That's beautiful because the world needs it. Yeah, the world needs this message, this man of on a mission. A missionary. I'm a missionary. My mother made me because they they didn't suspect another baby to come back then. The 66 years ago. [snorts] And uh So, they they had no echographics or anything to detect if there is a how many and how do they look like, you know, was a wooden Trump bed. That was all they had. No politics, Trump bed. Make jokes now, but uh [snorts] [snorts] the thing is uh back then, they weren't aware there was another one. I almost came too late to the world's. I came to the world purple. Like purple, was almost suffocated in the cold of the hall with the words of my mother invocating, "Oh God, let this child live. I will make him a missionary." She told me that all later. But that in that moment, the power of a woman who is in fear and in love and God-fearing at all at the same time. That is a powerful invocation. And I honor that because I cannot do otherwise. Yeah, [snorts] she is in me. She is embedded in it tattooed in me my genes. It's I'm a missionary. I am just unfolding her promise to God. [snorts] [snorts] Coming from a place of love.

4:00

Coming from a place of love. And that is exactly my message. But I [snorts] wasn't aware until in 2007 where I was exposed to [snorts] an experiment, biochemical experiment in the Manhasset, New York with a Dr. Kevin Tracy. And they had me hooked up with a lung and heart meter and they took the blood here. And they wanted to see if I was able to influence into the vagus nerve. Because if you are able to consciously intervene into the vagus nerve, you're able to bring down inflammation. Nobody had shown that before. There I was. I did that. And a week later, I got the results. Dr. [snorts] Ken Kamler uh called me up a week later after processing the results at 307 blood markers. So, no speculation. Uh by which they were able to make an interpretation if I was influencing into the vagus nerve. The the mechanisms that bring down inflammation. Cuz inflammation in the end is the cause and effect of disease. Any disease is inflammation. [snorts] So, almost take a breath. That is always good. I do that all the time. It's for free and it's amazing. Breath doesn't cost anything and it gives you the life force. Mind about it. Take a deep breath. When Dr. Ken Kamler called me up, he said, "Wim, are you able if you are able to reproduce the results you have done, you have produced, then that means huge consequences for human mankind."

6:00

consequences for human mankind." We got a a caller in here, a past friend of yours. Oh, good. [laughter] Look who we have here, boys. Hey. You want to hold it? Huh? Yes, [laughter] there he was. Ah, [__] I LOVE YOU. HEY, AMIR. HEY. So good. It's all good. Hey, Amir, you got to bring me to Egypt. We got to do an ice bath in front of the pyramids. Damn right we have to. Hey, man, no words anymore. Do it. Bam. You ready? Last time we talked about it, I talked to someone about it, and they were they said, "Whenever you want, let's make it happen." Okay, deal. Okay, man, I love you. Right on. It's about the love. No dice. We are love. We change the world. Yeah, man. WE ARE JUST STARTING UP. BRO. My boys. Hey. So good to see you, dude. So good to see you, guys. Will Hey. Give me one question to ask Wim from you guys. One question to ask Wim. Let's see. Uh has Wim played you the song uh the what's it called, the monkey song? A crazy like a monkey. [laughter] [laughter] Okay, here he goes. Okay. Wait. What was the second question, Amar? Okay. Uh how can humanity prepare for alien disclosure? Of course. Wow, those are two very different questions. I got that one. You got that one? How can humanity prepare for alien disclosure? We are aliens. If you look at the central nervous system, we look like aliens. It's the brain with all the mariotts, the nerves. Those are the Hey man, we are just in this body because it's convenient to the way to walk on this earth. But the rest, we are into consciousness. Otherwise, we would be monkeys. And crazy like a monkey, I can sing.

8:00

Well, Slim, you look good. You look really good, LIKE HEALTHY AND VITAL. [groaning] AND THE SHORTS KEEP GETTING SHORTER. I LOVE IT. [laughter] The shorts keep getting shorter. All right, we love you guys. Love you, too. See you. Bye. [laughter] [laughter] Ah, that's a nice surprise. That was a wildest start to a podcast I've ever had. It was good. Ah, yeah. [laughter] Yeah, crazy like a monkey, man. With the vibes. Uh not to get too off on a tangent tangent, but you you love music. You play music. You were toning before this. You were playing before this. Music's been a big part of your life, yeah? My first love. Mhm. The real love. I remember the first time I put I got a guitar in my hand, I learned one accord. You know, one one key. Mhm. Just one key. I played the whole a weekend. I could imagine myself through those tones. Just

10:00

imagine myself through those tones. Just the very just going traveling on the prairie and the mountains anywhere. Mhm. So, if it touches you that way, and if it opens up your imagination that way, then you are a musician. Right. You are born your heart opens. That is what makes the music. Anything that opens up the heart of somebody, yes. Mhm. It sounds like the cold was the thing that really opened you up big alongside music and around 17 you jumped in a canal that was then, you know, a big defining moment for what would ensue later in your life. How do you explain what that moment was for you now looking back in hindsight for the arc of your journey? Yeah, opening up the heart. That we were talking about the the other like music, your passion. But then you got the world. Look at the wars, depression, disease, the all the difficulties, mortgages, you got to go 9 to 5. Where is the heart? There. Suddenly it's gone and then you going to sit in your brain ruminating. What is happening? And it keeps on like a hamster inside. But we are humans, not hamsters. So, [clears throat] that is too much. It's too much cortisol. It's not the heart. Suddenly you are into that loop. And then I felt 17 years for the first time I I saw the thin layer layer of ice on the water. I told to go in. My gut feeling. I went in and there I felt this is it. Without words. I got back into my heart. Into my feeling. I was euphorious the whole euphoric the whole whole day. And then the other day I came back to see if it

12:00

I came back to see if it uh was coming back. Yeah, you go with expectation. Maybe it's just a one one-time experience and all. But no. It opened it up again. It made shut up the hamster, the ruminating, the overthinking, and the heart opened. Mhm. From that moment onwards, how has how you defined your mission on the planet evolved? And what is it currently, do you feel? What is What do you feel you're here to do? Exactly. I go now back to that Manhasset, New York where we were at the beginning of the podcast. So they gave me the results. A week later, Dr. Ken Komer, I just met him again after 19 years here in New York. Very nice man, very soft in his explanations and very precise, too. He's the author of Surviving the Extremes. And we have become friends and he knows the gravity of what I'm doing in the experiments I did in Manhasset, New York. 19 years ago, I showed how to activate consciously the vagus nerve. And once you are able to do that, you are able to bring down inflammation. And inflammation is the cause and effect of any disease. So here we could point out for the scientific world that we had found through breathing techniques how to bring down inflammation, but the scientific world didn't take it up. We got a We got all the medical science to produce pills, and medicaments, and treatments, but not to go naturally with the same effect and better because there's no side effect with uh breathing techniques. So, back then Dr. Kancamagus said, "Hey,

14:00

said, "Hey, if you are able to reproduce this, that means huge consequences for human mankind." And he named all these diseases. If people were only able to do what I had done that week before, and that was breathing. What we did earlier on here as well, making the body strong, activating biohacking into the body through breathing, making us the strongest version within ourselves the way nature meant it to be means that the immune system is at work. And when a bacteria then comes in, then it has no chance because the immune system is alert, and it bounces it out. It's the big bouncer, the immune system. When a little bacteria wants to get in, it says, "No, you go that way. Out." So, it is not able to multiply. That alertness we do with breathing. That alertness made your body strong enough to go and have a easy chat while being in cold water. I mean, almost to zero in the degrees 31, 32, what was it? It doesn't matter. We were cool. So, I directly when he called me, I felt I can Of course, I can reproduce this. That was where the missionary cons consciously started for me to be. And then half hour later, I got another phone call that my mother had died. She was the one who invoked it when I was born, the little purple nothing with that strong love invocation driven by love and fear that is powerful. It got tattooed into me. I'm that missionary and there I came only at terms with her my responsibility and ability to respond. I was able now

16:00

and ability to respond. I was able now to bring on something that doctor was saying, "This is going to change humanity. It is of huge consequences for humankind." He said, "Because you showed how to bring down the inflammation." And you showed it in 307 blood markers. But they didn't take it up because we live in a world where money makes health being treated. And if they cannot make money out of it, there is no interest. Not by the governments, not by the pharmaceutical industries, and the war lobbies, and and all. It's a sick world. And Bobby Kennedy says it well, "America is sick." But here I am. We are going to make it healthy. And not only America, the whole wide world. And we need people like yourself to bring it out. Cuz the journalists nowadays, they are cherry-picking, they are just serving the industries and they are not serving humanity. Where is the love in that? So, I didn't hear of these people anymore when they said they were going to have a comparative study done in the Catskills of a New York, comparative with and see if everybody is able to influence into that mechanism that brings down inflammation. So, I never heard anything of them anymore. 4 years later, I got a chance with the university with a university in hospital university in the Netherlands to repeat it. Now, I was injected with a bacteria, [snorts] a E. coli bacteria. This is a controlled experiment. People get sick 3 to 6 hours. And then

18:00

And then the experiment is done. And so, thousands of people had done that before. They all became sick until they met me. They [snorts] injected me the bacteria. I did the same what I did in Manhasset, New York 4 years before. I just breathe. And uh strongly do my exercise which I learned into the cold, how to breathe deep and to influence uh my body to make it strong while being in the cold so I don't feel the cold. Must be effective breathing. So, then I separated that breathing and made these breathing techniques which I learned in the cold. And then I saw all the eyes and all the chakras and all what I've been reading, suddenly I saw it for real. Mhm. Now, and that was amazing. But there in the hospital uh I got injected and then I showed as the first one to get into the autonomic nervous system and the innate immune system which was considered to be inaccessible by humans at will. Mhm. But there I had shown. And then they said, "But you are the Iceman." No, I said what I can do anybody can do. Iceman? No, maybe nice man. Maybe not. But whatever it is, my mission is I can bring it on for anybody else in the world. So then they gave me a group of people and a group of people who were not doing exactly what I was saying. I trained a a group and the group I trained they were all able to defy the bacteria causing inflammation in our immune system body becoming sick. Nobody. And the people who didn't, they all became sick. So the world of medicine the medical experts,

20:00

medicine the medical experts, the doctors, the professors in the world, the scientific world, the academics should have jumped on it. I just pointed out there is a natural way to bring down inflammation, the cause and effect of disease. Where is this world that is following the narratives of the industries, serving the industries, and not the healing power of people? So my mission was born there. I'm a missionary. I'm here. I'm a simple man, but I'm going to change the world. That's my faith, my conviction. I can do it. I can make a a the science change where they all have no solutions, I can bring the solutions cuz I come from nature. I'm a missionary according to my mother, and I will honor my mother and respect my mother in the afterlife being here right now with me. And she knows. And there it it doesn't start with the birth, It doesn't end with when we die. We better get our jobs done and live [clears throat] to our purpose. On other words, gnothi seauton. Know thyself. Where are you and what do you do? Cuz this is the universe and we live here on the earth. Don't be into too much into the matter materialized. But but what's the matter with you? Do you feel good? Do you sense the depths? Do you sense your spirituality emotionally, mentally, and physically? All that? Then it's all right. Then you're exactly where you need to be. But if it is not, if you're out of balance, then you are in the wrong place. You feel wrong. You don't know what it is. Don't have that conflict with the soul. Get into an ice

22:00

conflict with the soul. Get into an ice bath. Do some breathing. We go by signs just to bring you back to the factory settings of Mother Nature. So well said, man. So well said. What you said outside was that freedom is free and it's hard to control people that are sovereign, that understand that the power of their mind and their body is within their own control, that they have these faculties that are latent and profited on doing so. Like when you do a deep breathwork practice and you feel so powerful and you don't feel so controlled and compulsive by all the things that you thought you wanted and you're less of a victim in life. You're more of a powerful conscious agent of change and hundreds of millions of people have been practicing with your techniques and listening to your teachings and books and documentaries and talks and I think what it looks like from the outside is is it's remembering people of their own power, of the own power of their own mind. And it sounds like there was a really deep accepting of that responsibility when your mother passed. That was around 2007. Is that right? Yes. [sighs] And so amidst these studies that were that that were you were partaking in, you've done over what, a dozen now? There is there's been Yeah, 20 about, yeah. How many studies do we have to show that this is irrefutably uh showing by the scrutiny of science? Uh uh how how many? Uh 200? No. There is ignorance going on. There is a system that wants to make money out of dependency. What I advocate is autonomy. Autonomy is freedom. You are your own you and you should be able not the governments listening to governments. You see what governments are doing? No, learn to govern you yourself.

24:00

govern you yourself. And that is autonomy. So we have shown how to get into the autonomic nervous system, autonomy of the body, and the autonomous processes in the brain related to mood regulation, emotional regulation. We found it in brain scans and all. It's all out there. It's in papers and it has changed the paradigm of what we think is possible within the human. We are here to be autonomous. Reign over your own emotions. Claim the power of your own mind. Not 16% of your brain in control, 100. We have shown through breathing techniques that we are able willfully to activate 100% neural activity in the brain. So what are you doing when you've climbed these mountains in shorts and you've swam great lengths in ice water and been in multiple hours under ice water. These seem like superhuman feats. You're reminding us that we're all capable of that, but what are you really doing with your mind and your breath that's allowing you to defy being at the whims of the external circumstances and you being like exerting your will in such a way. What are you really doing in those moments? Trust is a superpower. Uh 2 days ago was in Miami and I was at a school for a grade four, five, and six, seven. Two different groups. And I was into showing what is a superpower. Hey, Batman and Superman, those are marvels. But your own superpower is marvelous. It's and it's right there. Don't forget it. And let be he schooled not only arithmetic and history and language, but in trust. which is deep within us to defy or or overcome any lesson in life.

26:00

defy or or overcome any lesson in life. To [snorts] realize our soul, our the purpose of our being. Know that that rock bottom superpower is within you and is stronger than any fear that comes to you. Fear is a messenger. It's not something to intimidate you. It shows you now you're ready to to overtake me. And then you got a new life's lesson in the journey of the realization of the soul. And it is very exciting to do that. So, I I wasn't schooled in this schooling system. I dropped [snorts] out. But I say in the old Latin, "Non scholae sed vitae discimus." It's not through the school, but through life that we learn how to discern. So, that's what I did. And I, uh, learned my languages, uh, many languages. And in the end, I learned the greatest of all in language communication, to talk from my heart, to have no fear. Here I am, and here I go. Uh, [clears throat] so, anytime when I go into a, uh, record, a world record attempt or a challenge, many more challenges than records I have. So, yeah, I feel uh, that I can do a thing. I feel challenged. And the, my subconsciousness knows I can trust my subconsciousness. Climbing without gear, free climbing, you have to learn to read the rock. And then you make the calculation inside, and your feeling will say, "This is dangerous, yes or no. You can do this, yes or no." That's why I always say, "Don't force. Go with the force of nature of your feeling. Feeling is the understanding." Mhm. So, that's the way I learned to trust

28:00

So, that's the way I learned to trust that feeling. Not to the way I learned it in schools, I learned to trust that feeling. And, uh, every time I succeeded following that feeling. For example, when I get a phone call of, say, the BBC, and they, "I've never run a marathon or any I'm not a runner." So, uh, I'll get a phone call there and they say, "Yeah, there is the birdman. Uh, he is the first man with a wingsuit. Uh, it was there is the man on wire. He goes over the, uh, Grand Canyon on a wire. And, uh, and there is, uh, the spider-man. That was Alain Robert, and he climbs the all these buildings without gear. And, uh, and they call you the Iceman." That was the first time somebody called me the Iceman. I thought, "Nice man. Hey, that's nice. Uh Batman, Superman, Iceman. Oh, that's me." Oh, my ego was careful. Oh, my ego. I said, "So beautiful." The So, but right there I [snorts] thought all the alarm bells were ringing. And and I said, "I'm not a runner, but I will run in the in 4 weeks uh a time beyond the polar circle in my shorts, a full marathon, and uh do it in a midwinter January. Uh is that okay?""Yes, "they said. And I had never run, but at from that moment, I felt instinctively, "I'm going to do this." So, I started to train and to take all the obstacles which I had in me out of my way because my goal was set. And then the body will shape toward that goal. And when you will start, then you are already ready. Hey fam, your immune system is doing a lot more than fighting colds. It's how your body recovers and regulates stress,

30:00

your body recovers and regulates stress, fights infection, and most of us actually have no idea how it's performing because a standard physical barely scratches the surface. That's why I use Function Health. They run over 160 lab tests a year, everything from vitamin D and zinc, which regulate immune function, to inflammation markers like HS-CRP, that tell you if something's quietly breaking down before you ever feel it. And it's only $ 365 a year, which is basically a dollar a day. And what I love is that all of your health results are tracked over time, so you're not just getting a snapshot, you're actually watching your health evolve over time, and you can even track the results deeper through integrations like with Claude and ChatGPT. I'm a member, it's changed how I think about what's actually going inside my body, and I would love the same for you. I want you to be as healthy as you can. So, if you want to check your health the way I do, visit functionhealth. com / knowthyself or use gift code know thyself 25 for a $ 25 credit toward your membership. Everything's linked down in the description. As always, stay healthy, be well. You mentioned a bit, and I haven't heard a whole lot from that age gap of like 17 to 40 when you're living in Amsterdam mostly, right? You were squatting, you were reading books, finding teachers, exploring so many different lineages and pathways, and I would love for you to go a little bit into that time zone because before we go further into the studies and the feats and all the things, you were really forming yourself, such a formative time in your life. So, what were you learning? Were you going down the yogic paths? What were you reading? Who were you learning from? What was that life in that chapter for you? That was my life with Olaya. Olaya is the mother of my four first four children. With whom I work right now, but back then, she fell into a dark place. And how that occurred, suddenly it was there.

32:00

suddenly it was there. Spiritual, mental decline coming in. And I had to take care of the kids. So, that was a tough time. In the beginning, it was absolute paradise with her. [snorts] Amazing. I lived in a squat. That's where you met her? Yes, Eight years long, and I had no money. But I held all the spirit, and it was a free, free thinking place cuz we were like outside the society. We were not into 9-5 work and those schedules and mortgage and uh and this is your career. No, I was absolutely totally into self-education to know myself. It was a great time. And there I met her. And we got two kids while being in the in that squad. It was amazing. Very nice energetically beautiful. But then as she wants to go back to Spain where she came from Basque Country Pamplona. And I went over there and I wanted to start there as a English teacher. In Spain. I already spoke Spanish. So I started to also the the Basque language to learn. Where I am, I will learn. So I was a teacher for a time. It didn't work out because she could not live [snorts] where I was teaching. And And then she didn't take care of the two kids. One kid set the house on fire. So we had to go out because it was a rent a rental. And that it made it difficult. I we could not stay there any longer. I and I was at the same time having I made

34:00

and I was at the same time having I made a ashram. Ashram is a place in India where you do yoga and self-deployment like know thyself but then in Indian lifestyle. Where did you get Where did you learn to explore that? All yeah all the yogic postures I knew. I made a book about it. Yoga as a universal technique. And [snorts] all the photos and all I got that all done. Back then and with the explanations where it is good for, and also pranayama techniques. You just had a natural curiosity, or were you looking to like solve something, find something? Of course, yeah. To me, yoga was [snorts] the best way to get to your inner self without dogma, without spiritual doctrine of any kind of religions. The most I felt akin to was Buddhism. Mhm. Not Hinduism. Hinduism is nice and the mythology and all. Islam has its own, and Christianity has its own. I've been an altar boy, for God's sake. Me, too. Yeah. I was an altar boy for a little bit. I told you, spiritually alive again from the beginning. It's a feeling, you know? So, back then, I was into yoga. But why? What What drew you to self-inquiry and um and that? I I think I've been I I'm sure now been always driven by this invocation of my mother. Mhm. And then many times in your life you don't know what you do, but I got a identical twin brother, but my path led to self-realization. To [snorts] go mysticism. And how you take on anything you find, and you don't know how to serve whatever is going on in the depth of yourself,

36:00

is going on in the depth of yourself, but you are driven to do so. Mhm. So, I did that. I did all kinds of not only yoga, also Dervish dancing, also karate, taekwondo, whatever I could touch my making music, sing the hell out of myself, and all. It was spirituality that drove me, but where it came from, I was not conscious yet. And then uh I was with my wife. I just tried to make a living, but I couldn't with her. We became very difficult. She lived in a dark place. And that the ended up Well, I had to take care of my four children being there for them. I had a broken heart. Now, it's called broken heart syndrome. I had it back then. Now, live with that and then take care of four children with no money. That for years makes you disciplined. [snorts] So, you were exploring all these various different paths. You met your wife at the time and while you were squatting in Amsterdam, had four children, saw her mental health slowly start to decline. Diagnosed with schizophrenia and then you got a call one day while on an expedition I I believe, right? When she took her life. mountain guide uh somewhere in the Pyrenees, the central Pyrenees from her brother. And what was that call like? That was Yeah. Like numb. You feel numb. What what Who who called you? My uh the her brother. He's a good friend of mine. He said, "I'm going to see him uh this summer in Europe." And uh Pedro. And what did he say? Uh Uh and he said to uh uh Maribel uh uh Olaya she called herself always.

38:00

Olaya she called herself always. And that's the way we know her but her true name is Maribel. Uh Uh she died. She jumped uh or she fell from eight stories down. And uh it was a difficult uh uh conversation. He was uh uh deeply uh touched. He had a heavy voice, slow voice, and uh what can you say? You can't say anything. You are numb. You take it in. You go and you ask yourself, "Why? How is that?" You You have to work on yourself. Get better. The old way, and then I went to the mortuarium. And there she was, and I looked at her face together with her father. And And I saw in her face that the demon was out. It was peaceful. It's almost nothing you could see. But there she was. And then we cried. Me [clears throat] and her father. You just cry. It's human. And uh I had to go back. Of course, I did the funeral. But not with my kids. She kissed them goodbye. Uh she just before being there. We still don't know if she jumped or she fell accidentally because she was confused. Schizophrenic is like doing crazy stuff,

40:00

Schizophrenic is like doing crazy stuff, and you lose control. Identity loss. See what happens right now in America with the shootings. That's identity loss. Children are being squeezed in a into a system and they have talents for something else that causes conflict, stress so much that they lose identity, the sense of identity. What I'm here for? To They lose it. It messes with the brain. And then they lose their sense of identity so much they shoot their parents, their siblings, they go to school and start shooting also. Breathing. I wasn't aware back then how to solve the brain waste that is caused by the stress of society cuz my woman back then, the mother of my children, who's here right now with us. But she was a very open, very sensitive person, beautiful. Extrovert. I called her butterfly. In Spanish, mariposa. That is the way she was. And this society is sick. This is a In the beginning of this conversation, podcast, we were talking about the world, about the heart, about the music. And you touched by the We are the heart, but we make of our heart a hell. By getting into a system that demands us to be from 9: 00 to 5: 00, follow the regulations, etc. And for what? For bridges and towers and an elite controlling us? What how And we cannot protect our

42:00

What how And we cannot protect our children in the world? We can't stop the wars and we call ourselves civilized? We cannot stop depression, the darkness, the diseases, and we got all the technology. Sorry that I'm ranting, but this is the way it goes. I'm still I still got this anger of back then. Cuz I was numb then. I was paralyzed. I was shocked, flabbergasted, whatever it is, but I could not understand, grasp anything of it. I was broken. But I had to take care of my children. So those deep dark moments, they have been all there while society keeps on going like a fast train, and you cannot mourn, you cannot make yourself make sense out of that situation just to be human. That is not this world, and I am going to change this world. I got that conviction. I got the help of people in the afterlife. You think it is doesn't exist and he is crazy. I say you are bloody crazy for not being happy, strong, and healthy. And if you are abide to the laws, then you are just like a zombie. You are not alive cuz you are a beautiful soul. Do you feel beautiful? Do you feel amazing? Do you feel like you are in love? When you are in love with a person, you are stronger than you thinking. You just want to go. Do you feel that way? Do you love life? Then you are right there where you know yourself. And that is where yesterday evening I had thousands of people coming to my show. I just show up. That is what I'm

44:00

show. I just show up. That is what I'm doing. I got nothing premeditated. I'm So, I standing there and I take on the energy, which is coming from souls. AI is empty. We are two eyes with a soul. I go for the fullness of that all past any fear. Cuz I'm the soul, and the soul is unbreakable, everlasting. It's in love with life, and that is where I am fulfilling the soul of my deceased wife, of the mother of my children, of my mother. She is there who put me on this mission, of my friends who passed away because of all kinds of diseases. I'm going to beat disease, depression, and bring the soul the way nature meant it to be. Wim, I feel so much power in your spirit and your heart, and I think that for many people it's born from deep heartbreak in those moments where you feel numb, you can't take in how much is transpiring in your life, and that brings you to depths that you might have otherwise not felt. Um but who is being born in those instances, you know? And easier to connect the dots looking backwards, but um I'm just I'm I'm interested and I'm curious how connected and correlated the deep pain and the beautiful heart sharing and how connected you are with your heart and how how many people you support, millions across the globe now, or how how those two are connected. Um I uh yeah, I love how how much conviction you share in your voice and that how possible and powerful these realizations can be for all of us, and that like reclaiming that sovereignty back to the individual,

46:00

sovereignty back to the individual, whoever's listening right now, and through your practices and the and all that you share, it's just so empowering um because I think right now we're fed so many messages of how separate we are, of the division, and the narratives that always separate us through caste and creed and religions and genders and all of it. Um but you come back into the breath and you come back into conversations and communities and individuals like yourself that that give you that reminder of how powerful we we really are. So, just so much gratitude for for you being here today and having a new brother and um what you have gone on to do since those moments, I'm sure it wasn't always clear, you know, you you've had many moments of ups and downs and insights, but the culmination of you studying these different yoga traditions and different practices, um everything happening with your wife and your kids, to then go on and explore the cold and the breath as a powerful teacher in life. [snorts] [snorts] Um I suppose what is what what comes down to the core message from from all this lived experience? You're doing it in many different ways through the studies and the cold and the breath. Um what what is the core message in in what you want to remind people? First of all, I uh show my respect to you, too. And my gratitude for being here. I see you as a person of light. I can see. I can feel. No nonsense. You've got a great message just to be here and witness make witness anybody else about lightness of being. I can feel it. It's good work. Great work. This world needs the light, not the darkness, and light, not the heaviness. And you got it. You got it embodied. That's why you possibly you are able to sift out exactly exactly the essence of what I got. So, we can pass it on

48:00

what I got. So, we can pass it on to humanity for those who seek, who need. That is love. So, that is to start with. And then the core, the core message of mine right now is after so many pathways done, after so much science done, I've come to the conclusion that there is a wall of ignorance, a wall of opportunistic greed, and money and power going on. We got so much technology, yet we are barbaric the way we are in the world. It's time for the love. It's time for the soul. And these simple tools I have found make people really able to get back to the factory settings of Mother Nature. That is to love each other and to hug each other instead of Oh, sorry. I don't touch you. Hey, who did that, man? It's not about sex. It's about love, and that is [__] good. [laughter] You know, I just wake up people and I say it's time for the soul. We have been playing in the [__] show enough. Too much wars, too much Are we, man? Are we able to protect our children? We are children ourselves in in the face of Mother Nature. Are we playful? Are we powerful? So powerful that we can play, that we don't feel fear. All that we are not. It takes uh beings of light, the new people, the new real investigators, not these so-called scientists in the hierarchy system, who are just sitting there following the industry, not humanity. So, for that there a podcast uh is the

50:00

So, for that there a podcast uh is the new way to spread what is really going on. And what is really benefiting to humanity. My core uh message therein for in this podcast to do be spread is simple. Uh through these tools cold and breathing, uh we are able to get back into the depth of ourselves, into the autonomic nervous system, and the autonomous processes in the brain. Autonomous means outside our will. And autonomy means that you are a person who is able to handle his emotions, his freedom, his energy, his body and mind. It's all there. And it's every day it should be the unconditionally. But not in a society that demands us to be narrow-minded and serve the system like a brick in the wall. We are no bricks in the wall, guys. We are the whole house. And we should be able to go into any space of that house because it's our temple, and our being there makes it sacred. And that is our brain. We should be able to go into any space of our own brain, which is connected to the central nervous system, and it's connected everywhere. And it doesn't mean that you need to be everywhere in the house. No, you sit like we sit relaxed in the living room. And when you are sleepy, you go to sleep nicely in another room. Then you don't you're no longer in the living room. And and then in the kitchen to make some food. And then with the kids there. and there you play make music. There you get with the dog and don't go all the time in the house because he's going to [__] in the house. So, yeah, you need to go out. And this is what I could be a billionaire already, but I

52:00

I could be a billionaire already, but I am not a seller. I'm the living room. [laughter] I think perfect to splice in here is uh the Wim Hof method which you guided me through before this. We did the cold. So, let's cut to some of that footage now that what helps show exactly what are a few of these practices that you've implemented, you've shared with millions of people, and that is a direct access point for people to experience this themself. So. Exactly. Yeah, no better way than showing it the way we did. It is simple, effective, scientifically endorsed. This is the way we beat a bacteria injected. This is the way we showed 100% of the brain being uh activated. This is the way we showed how to get a hold over the endocrine system, the hormonal system, in the depth the endocannabinoid system. It's all there. If you are able to go consciously into the depth of the brain, which is the endocannabinoid system, periaqueductal gray hemisphere. Look it up. It's all fancy names. It means you regain control over your own brain. Isn't that logical? We don't have a mass of meat inside which is outside of our control. What sense does that make? It should be 100% you in control over your own brain, the seat of the mind and its unlimited power. Amazing. Let's go out there. A quick share. If you've been feeling sluggish, you might not need more sleep or caffeine. You could just be dehydrated. And hydration is not just about drinking water, it's about having enough electrolytes that support your body to properly absorb that fluid. Element contains a science-backed electrolyte ratio of sodium, potassium, and magnesium that helps regulate your appetite, curb your cravings, and improve your brain function. There's no sugar or artificial colors, no junk, and

54:00

sugar or artificial colors, no junk, and they just released their new 12-oz cans, which I drink almost every single day. I'm a huge fan of them. They are pineapple, orange, black cherry, and lemonade. I love these three right here. If you want to try them out, you can get a free 8-count sample pack of Element's most popular flavors with any purchase at drinklmt. com / knowthyself. And if for any reason you don't like it, they have a no-questions - asked refund policy. You don't even have to send it back. That's drinklmt. com / knowthyself. Everything's linked down in the description as always. Catch you on the next one. Here we are, seated like in a meditation pose. Tranquil, relaxed. A relaxed body is able to store up oxygen. So, do you feel relaxed? No. Okay. Then, use your belly and your chest to inhale deeply. And let it go. And fully in. [sighs] Let it go. Fully in. [snorts] And go on. Fully in. Go. Keep on going, Andre. Keep on going. I'm talking to the viewer while you do this. What is happening with Andre right now is called respiratory alkalosis. We make alkalize the body. It through breathing out the CO2, the blood becomes alkaline. Alkalinity makes the nervous system

56:00

Alkalinity makes the nervous system react and function better. And then it goes into the depth. It's called the autonomic nervous system. This was before thought in science impossible. But he is alkalizing the blood and thus suddenly his blood changed its biochemistry. He's becoming an alchemist. So can you. So fully in, becoming light-headed, looming the body. Very soon after 10 of these deep breaths, Andre will stay 90 seconds after exhalation without breathing. Is that possible? Yes, very possible because we suppressed by alkalizing the blood the CO2 breathing trigger. It's down. So you don't feel that you have a need to breathe. What happens in the 10 times? Three more. Uh what happens is that you don't breathe and your deep brain suddenly is biohacked. And it shoots out adrenaline. Then he becomes strong to go into the ice bath. Tranquil and nice. Okay. Last one. Fully in. Let it go. [sighs] And stop. Close your mouth. No smuggling. No nothing. He is in no need to breathe right now. After exhalation. So he has a residual amount of oxygen, not enough to normally function. But, he is okay. This is when the parasympathetic nervous system is working, the rehabilitated, the regenerator, the healer in the body, the vagus nerve. He is in peace while he is actually in stress, according to the brain stem. So, the brain stem activates the adrenal axis. That is hypothalamus,

58:00

axis. That is hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and the adrenal glands. And suddenly, anything that should be out of his body to become the best version of himself is being expelled through the activation of that adrenal spike. He is still without breathing after exhalation. Excellent. This is the way we work as a greatest biohack, and so simple. You better do it. This is the way we get rid of the [__] inside and become the strongest version of who we are. Let's say five, four, three, two, one. Fully in. All good. And squeeze it to your head. This is spinal fluid squeezed to your head, entering into the brain stem, the mammalian brain, the human brain, the corona radiata. 100% of his brain is activated right now. Cleansing. Three, two, one. Let it go. Well done. We do one round more so you can understand. It is simple, very profound. This is the way we have been injected with the bacteria. Bacteria had no chance. Why? Because we become the best version of ourselves. We clean ourselves up in the depth and subtly the immune system works. The autonomic nervous system works. All within our dominion. It is amazing. Okay. Once more. I will do it. Yeah, right on, man. It's all about the love. Here it is. Love and power. Fully in. Let it [snorts] go. All in. Let it go. Fully in. Let it go. All in.

60:00

All in. Go. Three. Yeah. Everybody has his own rhythm. Fully in. Letting go. In. Let. Go with your heart. Have heart for your heart. Go with the flow. In. Go. Three. [clears throat] Go. Fully in. [sighs] Three. Go. [clears throat] This is pure catharsis. We are doing the study right now in uh San Diego. And it shows that this works 800 uh percent better than normal brain waste cleansing. No cost. Just breathe. That's why I say it. Just breathe, [__] In. Bang. Three. So simple. Powerful. Here it is. Go with the flow. In. Go. Three. Go. [sighs] [sighs] Fully in. Go. Three. Anybody can do this. Three. Go. Fully in. Go. Three. Go. Five more. Three. Go. Fully in. Go. Three. Go. Four. Go. Five. GO. LAST ONE. FULLY IN. Let it go. And stop. It's going to be 2 minutes without breathing after exhalation. No air in the lungs. [clears throat] This normally is not able to happen, but we are the alchemists. We change the biochemistry. We alkalize the blood. Suddenly we get into the deep survival brain. And that is the place of all the opioids. Of all the cannabinoids. All the

62:00

Of all the cannabinoids. All the dopamine. If you feel depressed, it's a lack of dopamine. We are crushing it here right now. 250% more dopamine. Neurotransmitters. You will feel alive and clean. And strong. Silently. Cuz in the cold, it is stress. But then suddenly you are able to relax. It's icy water. Amazing. You got that power inside. Activate it. You can do this any day and you are the best version of yourself. You still on? After exhalation. Once again, excellent. Excelentisimo. Excelente. Well, how do you say that? This is what they say of the president in there. It's excellence. EXCELLENCE IS BIOHACKING INTO THE best version of yourself. Five, four, three, two, one. Fully in. Hold it. Squeeze it as if you got a [__] ON THE TOILET. NOW THE [__] GETS OUT THERE. YEAH, MAN, IT'S IT'S so simple. I I explained it in the primary school to children. It's like pooping. You squeeze The [__] doesn't WANT TO GET OUT. YOU GOT [__] IN THE BRAIN. You got TO GET A [__] OUT OF HERE. YEAH, get rid of the [__] And I did that with the you know with the school kids and the and everybody. They loved it and they understand. Because the thing is what is powerful doesn't freedom doesn't uh cost anything. Freedom is for free. Power to be is unconditional.

64:00

Power to be is unconditional. Like that. It's who we are and what we are. And we found the Bao X. We went to the universities, to the hospitals. They got us injected with the bacteria normally that makes you sick, very controlled experiment. Not in our case. Cuz we became the best version of ourselves. We are the healers of ourselves. That is the law of nature. Let's go. Yeah, right on. Yeah, good. I feel that power. Yeah. Oh, wait a minute. Let's do a little horse stance. Okay. Horse stance is the standing like this. Because then the thighs they are connected to the adrenal axis. And we make a move. [snorts] [clears throat] WARRIORS WARRIORS WE ALL WE STAND. We are strong. Confirm for yourself. I'm strong. I'm standing in the universe right there where I got to be.

66:00

Now we will go to the mirror cold to cold and make it a very pleasant experience cuz we are in power. Okay. So do you want to guide me or do you want to go first? Should I go first? Oh yeah, I'm not going in the cold. It's too cold [laughter] FOR ME. I'M A OLDER MAN. I'M A FREE MAN. YEAH. Oh yeah. I I got that one. [laughter] I learned off JP. He went in it, not me. Okay, I can go first. You know what? We can both. Both go? Yes. All right. Relax. Long deep breath. Easy dive in. FUN, MAN. FUN. We are men. IT DIDN'T LAST LONG ENOUGH. BUT WE ARE MAD MEN. HEY. We are strong. Relaxed, too. What's happening to us right now? When we're cuddling in the cold plunge. Yeah. What's happening to our physiology? Our mind, our body. Yes. So, killer number one is cardiovascular related diseases. Because we never train our cardiovascular workout is never been done. The cold is able to make that happen. What it is, uh it's called adapting to the environmental stress. The activation of the adrenal axis that makes you strong. And suddenly all kinds of hormones set in that enable to nullify the impact of the cold. Or in other words, your inner power suddenly becomes so strong that you don't feel the cold anymore.

68:00

the cold anymore. And that means that the workout for your vascular system is optimized. And suddenly these sub veins are all at work. 70, 000 miles of veins, arteries, and capillaries in everybody. And we never trained them. And this is the best way to train them. By which the heart doesn't need to work as much. Are you still okay? I'm okay. Yeah. Me, too. We are cool. Literally. Very cool. Two cool dudes. 60. 67. And and by the way, very good for your balls. Because the balls need some They are outside of our body. Not at the side of the body. We always squeeze them Oh, they're they're inside to the heat. inside of the body. THAT'S NO GOOD. THAT IS THE WAY prostate cancer happens at a certain moment. Too long, too hot. So, this is like bringing and taking out your dog to [laughter] [__] They get taking the balls back in their true nature. Amazing. I never thought of taking a cold plunge as taking your dog to [__] Yeah. I uh I love it. Yeah, What's the number one thing that the cold has taught you in life? It First of all, to shut up. Because I am a talker and all and was ruminating in my head. But once then instinctively I went into the cold, I felt this is it without words. Because Rumi came to me. Rumi is like poetry, the life itself, easiness. A heartbeat going down. Not this frenetic train in the head. It stopped. It made it shut up. And suddenly the life appeared. And that was my beginning and and now I know it is the endocannabinoid system

70:00

know it is the endocannabinoid system that is being activated through the cold, which is the cannabinoids and the opioids. Cold is pain. This is the way we are activating the pain center in the brain. And and suddenly we get all the opioids we need. Let's Let's go out. Yeah, you put Yeah. So, you better get into the cold if you want to live longer and stronger. What do you think humanity needs to hear? What's the most important message that we need to all be reminded right now? That that it is very close that how to because we took the signs on it. So, there is no speculation about what I say. We now know how to biohack into the deepest of our physiology both in the brain and the body. Just to cleanse the uh the whatever biochemical [__] that is coming in from our modern day uh behavior and radiation and PFAS and microplastics and the [__] food we take and all and then the neurotoxins of relationships that we don't know how to handle anger how to regulate emotions all that has come to an end. Cuz I went to science and showed that we can beat all these demons. And that's uh where I am cuz we are beings of light. Not heavy, light. Not dark. Every day, unconditionally. That's what I want to transmit. Just try it out. Blame me if it doesn't work. But if it works, that's it. It's about love. Let's go home. Yeah.

72:00

Let's go home. Yeah. So that was amazing. I feel really good from this morning, the cold, the sun, the movement, the breath. There's something so powerful about realizing that it's also all free and you've been quoted in many different ways saying that if you don't go after the cold into the cold, the cold will come after you. And right now we live in a time with more external comforts than any society previously, but we have an internal slavery to these dopaminergic devices and the food and all these industries that prey on our attention and the reminder you keep giving us is to come back and to realize the faculties we have that we had since we were born and to make use of them. And so what do you think about choosing stress so stress doesn't choose us? I did this stage two. Let it rip. Yeah, just let it rip, man. Don't be r. i. p. Rest in peace. Yeah, I I have some peace. I have a piece of it. And then rip it. Rip girl. Go. Serve on the brainwaves. Uh [snorts] thing is, uh I just did the recently a big study. Uh and it is as you said, actually. Uh if you don't go after the cold, then the cold will come after you. If you don't go to the stress, then the stress will come to you. So, we did a study with 500 people. And we got it published in nature. So, that means no speculation about it. We got thousands and thousands of data to show compared to meditation, which is a great thing, meditation, and [snorts] mindfulness, a great thing, but not necessarily effective to battle stress, modern-day stress. We need more deeper, more intense

74:00

deeper, more intense anti-stressful techniques uh to battle that effectively. So, we did that study compared to meditation and mindfulness. Meditation, mindfulness, with whoop. Uh biometric watches. Yeah. So, there's no speculation about it. [snorts] And uh they were measured all the time. And the people doing meditation and mindfulness, uh they were exposed to normal daily stress. And then the people doing the Wim Hof method, it bears my name. I didn't give it, but I like it. It's okay. If you got to stand up, you honor the name. Okay, I do that. But I was not in this study, eh? Sometimes I spoke on the Zoom, but that's all. So, the study is done completely independently. So, they did that and then they did the Wim Hof method. [laughter] Yeah, and 404 people were included. So, there it was and now the results. The results show that this works 300% better towards stress resilience than meditation and mindfulness. 300% better in development of cognitive awareness compared to meditation and mindfulness. And 400% in energy boost compared to meditation and mindfulness. And then they found another compound. And that is a psychological parameter done by the University of Harvard, who was included in that big study which is published in nature. So, no speculation, a lot of peer reviewing, and and again it took 3 years.

76:00

and again it took 3 years. So, it has been gone through all the mills and filters and doctors and again. And then they found that superpower, trust. They not through the meditation and mindfulness, but here suddenly they could is a new psychological parameters existent protocolized scientifically. And it shows how to to measure trust. Trust is a department in our brain. It's part of the subcortical higher functioning of the brain. Subcortical means out of the cortical awareness that is our modern day alertness awareness and then like subconsciousness, you have subcortical below it and that is responsible for say trust, confidence, creativity, empathy. All these abstract values have space in the brain. But we had no connection with it. And now [snorts] we go back into the practice, the tools, the cold and the breathing are so good in biohacking the body to ignite the depth of the physiology in the body and in the brain that we suddenly are able to access into the subcortical higher functioning of the brain called trust. And they could measure it. And they saw that and they people in the life, they suddenly they were able to work so much better because they were not competing. They were working [snorts] together as social human beings, no fear. Just being creative. They talk back to the authority cuz authority shits like us. They pee like us. There is nobody you don't pee or [__] better than me. To

78:00

you don't pee or [__] better than me. To say they say equally brown maybe yellow because you ate wrong. They say and then you say it. You talk back to authority. Does it make sense? Yeah, so no. And if you know more than you I can be taught. I love to be taught. It's very boring if you're not being taught new things. So I love to be taught but do not be oppressed in a hierarchic system and being told what to do. That is like bring your soul down. That is no good. But this is this society is built upon that paradigm. So, I'm breaking that paradigm and bring people back to their autonomy. And they can trust it. Yeah. So, those were the results of that and it's now out there. I love everything you were just sharing it. It just makes me think of how we are not taught basic functionings of the body and the breath. That if we did, we would have a radically transformed society. When it comes to the breath, we can feel the immediate benefits after doing a practice, you know, like Wim Hof, various different pranayamas that date back thousands and thousands of years. When it comes to each nostril having a different effect on our nervous system and the various, you know, dozens of different forms of ways we can use our breath to modulate our neurochemistry and our physiology, what do you wish everyone understood about the power of our breath? [sighs] Was a woman lying on the ground doing for the breathing and she was asking me, "Woman, do how do I have to breathe through this nostril or this one or the mouth or the diaphragm or the the belly or maybe it

80:00

belly or maybe it Well, how how do I do?" I said, "Baby, relax. Use any hole you got. Just get it in and let it go. It's not complicated anymore. The old pranayamas, the surya beda tatva, the chandra beda tatva, the kumbhakas, the uh the kevala kumbhaka, the the antara, the I know all that, but it doesn't work in the cold because it is not of the cold. These practices are of long ago. Back then we had modern Back then we had different environmental stresses to solve with breathing techniques and to soothe in our nervous system. Right now we live in a modern society with 10 times more neural activity going on in the brain. We look the same, but inside it all changed. That's why we got iPhones. That's why we got technology. And probably we are aliens and they got in that way and we think we talking about aliens. Man, we are alienating from planet Earth. All the time. So it it is time to start to make this Earth a paradise. And how do we do that? By effective biohacking. And getting back into the natural settings of mother nature. And they are there for anybody any day. And now I'm proving this. It is like having a bike outside and you think every morning you go past that bike and it's beautiful. Beautiful color and all you admire bike, but you have to walk to your work and it's fatiguing. Every day the same and the rain and this and that. Yeah, you still you do your work and you do it well, but it's so fatiguing to go

82:00

do it well, but it's so fatiguing to go to the work and come back all these kilometers because you don't know that that bike is yours. You don't know that your mind is yours. And I'm proving time after time in scientific comparative studies how the brain really works. So we can become aware of our true capacities. And with that, we are very able to regulate our emotions, to feel unconditional power of love every day, and to fulfill and realize our soul. For that, we have a servant called our brain, the seat of the mind. And that is all there, and then we feel the sacredness of us, cuz we are holy beings, not in dualism. We are in conflict with our own soul. And at the end of the life, so many people asking themselves, "What did I do with my life?" [snorts] And for those now, I say, uh life is here, and doesn't stop after we die and pass over. It didn't start with our birth, but while we are alive, we better live up to our purpose. Let's make this world a paradise, not only for you, ego. Let's we go, and we go for all the kids in the world, cuz we are men, and we defy fear, and we will make that contribution absolutely effective to make this world a great place. That's where we are. Being on the Know Thyself podcast, I think what starts as a doorway to stress management, being healthy, exploring breathwork, we start

84:00

healthy, exploring breathwork, we start to feel better in the longer sessions, have some mystical experiences, encounter consciousness in a deeper context. And I know this is something you've explored a lot, and I'm curious what your thoughts are on what's happening internally, and what do you really believe is consciousness and who we are in our most fundamental essence as we do these breath work practices, we have this flood of endogenous chemicals, we have a deeper experience of self beyond just our own thoughts and emotions. What in your experience have you encountered in those deeper sessions? I got a question over professor who is into consciousness. I do these winter expeditions 250 people present in a room and then questions and answers and there was this professor and he is into consciousness and all kinds of traditions. He said I've studied it all last 40 years, but I still got this question. How do you grow your consciousness? And I told him right there because I don't know. What the [__] I know I don't know, but I do it. Cuz I have the right to get to know. So right there in the moment I connect simply with the omniscience omnipresence, omnipotency. It's there and I trust [clears throat] it. I trust it from rock bottom faith that I will be able to connect and that I will have a question answered at that moment. So I said I can pick your brain, I said. And I'm not a professor. He is and he is a specialist in consciousness. And he felt it. [snorts] [snorts] And then I said the the question is great.

86:00

the question is great. It's genuine. A true seeker becomes a finder. If you stay in your [__] and you just rhetorically ask a question, then you get [__] back. But you are not into that. This is a genuine question. a true seeker will find. Hey, I'm just connected uh with nature. I think the way nature meant it to be. Because it's not me filling up with academic kind of consciousness. Uh it doesn't work. I am here connected to the omniscience, which is there for everybody. It's an open library. You can pick it. You got a question, you send a signal, you get the answer. And the answer was so very simple. There are two types of consciousness. One [snorts] is to fulfill yourself, and when your cup is full, you can fill others. And once you do that, you fill yourself up with this power of love for life. Your [snorts] soul feels good. No conflict. The soul is driven by love. It's beautiful. The love is the greatest power because you don't think anymore. You just feel. And that feel feels fulfilled. You could call it full field. Whatever. We can play with words. Doesn't matter. So, that is first you fill your own cup, like any child needs to learn to first stand up and to walk. These neurological pathways need to connect, and then we get into consciousness and how to expand consciousness. Always follow your feeling. Trust your soul to be here with that purpose, giving you all the power to

88:00

purpose, giving you all the power to realize its purpose, its work. And so, we are built, and so is everybody, and that's the way we actually should be schooled in our schools. To be ready to serve others. To bring the love, to heal the world effectively. Cuz our soul is able to do that through the unlimited power of the mind. The omniscience is serving us. Omnipotency is the power is serving us when the mind is stilled and not your enemy, then it becomes your ally, your greatest ally. And then [clears throat] you can do anything. And I didn't use as many words as I did just very short, but he knew, he felt. The question was answered. Something he was looking for the last 40 years. Bing. Very simple. What is it that you think we're fundamentally looking for as seekers on this path? What are we really looking for? That is exactly uh what this is. What I'm doing is showing the universities how the real physiology of the nervous system works. The nervous system is electricity, it's the light. How we came in here, how we sing, are you afraid of the light? Did you ever feel you can trust? The very simple things, we took them for granted. And we should not think about it, but make it happen. And I will make it happen through neuro mechanistic science and show it in devices measuring and show it in brain

90:00

devices measuring and show it in brain scans how it all works. Because what I can do anybody can do. I just love humanity so much that I will get rid of the [__] in humanity and make this world a pure, clean place where our children will play in a paradise. That's what I'm doing and it's coming and it's got almost unbelievable, eh? Because after so many hundreds of years of academics and we still don't know nothing. This is a Dr. Army I met is a he's a top neurosurgeon and he's got his own building and all the people at the top when they have difficulties with brains and they go over there. It's in Germany and we're talking 3 hours and then he said Wim, [snorts]"I know everything of the brain. I've been operating thousands of times into the brain. We know nothing of the brain." And I say, "Nature knows how to go." And what is that? Not only to survive, but to thrive. We are here for a soul. Not [snorts] to be mechanistically into the brain and how it all functions and your mathematics and your history and how to I'm better than you. No. Are you the best of yourself? So this is what I say to the biggest fighters and the biggest Olympians and biggest academy academics. I say, "Hey, I don't care how good you are. I'll make you better. So listen up. And what is it? Listen to this inner voice. Listen to yourself, to your trust. Do you trust yourself? Do you feel that?

92:00

Do you feel that? Cuz any question can be answered if you only follow the breath. Trust it. Mhm. And you will see in brain scans 100% of yourself. And suddenly your house becomes alive. And you are able to enter into any room you need to go. Mhm. And you know what? Yeah, all these spirits, the ancestors, they are within you. They have passed over what they could not solve. Their souls are captivated in your genes. [snorts] You can liberate them. We go past time cuz the soul doesn't know time. If you realize your soul, you're able to go into the gene expressions and liberate those souls as well. [snorts] [snorts] Those spirits as well. That is the way we respect our four forefathers and four mothers. The way we oppressed with our colonial imperialistic way the natives in the world, it's over. They are back to liberate the world and to bring the soul for everybody in the world. So good, man. Yeah, that to feel that responsibility as well. Like we have the ability to be a powerful agent of change for the generations that are to come after us, for the generations that came before us. That keeps coming back to that reminder of that power. Um and when you talk about those two answers you gave him for like first filling up your own cup and then moving forward from that place of knowing and it overflows into all of humanity. Uh I love when you get so fired up and animated about ending the tyranny and the suffering that is so pervasive right

94:00

the suffering that is so pervasive right now on the planet and how possible it is. That's what we do. Yeah. Cuz it feels like right now we're just so often fed the narrative that we can't do anything. Like it just is what it is, you know? And And so yeah, conversations like this also re - reignite that fire within myself and I think that's what we do for each other, you know? Power is there. Yeah. And you got it. You are great soul. You are full of light. Keep on going the way you go. I'm here just to be side by your side to reinforce you. You reinforce me. We inspire each other. Inspiring is inspiration. Inspiration is actually a breath in. Mhm. That is our spirit comes in and alive. Breathe deep. Go deep. And claim your own power of your own mind. A man who is in control of his mind knows how to regulate its emotion. He will choose happiness. And a happy man doesn't go to war. A happy man is not into greed. This is the way we are going to stop tyranny. Done. Over. C T R L delete. Bang. [laughter] Out of here. [snorts] [snorts] Oh, man. It's so good. You're so witty, too. You got all these puns and it's just so beautiful when they come out. Um Is there a question in your life that you're looking to have answered right now? That you're living right now? Mhm. No. I'm in love with life. Mhm. And you know, when you are in love, you don't think. You just want to go reach your goal. And what is that subject? Could be a woman, could be a man, could be mine is the goal. I got a beautiful family. I'm a lucky devil or a lucky angel, whatever it is. We are here in

96:00

angel, whatever it is. We are here in Los Angeles. I'm an angel, man. I'm flying. And you all so you are light. You are not heavy, you're not dark, you are light. We are flying. So, I love that. I'm not looking for anything but this, what we are doing right now. Cuz know thyself. I know myself. I'm here to serve. The service is felt, my friend. Yeah. Thank you. Beautiful. The What What do you have coming up over the next couple years? It seems like you've been sharing more with your talks and and whatnot. Um where Studies. A lot of studies. I will prove that we have the neurology that we got the terrorist. We found it. It's inside, not outside. It's inside. And to how to become happy, strong, and healthy beyond any speculation for anybody in the world. Uh let's make the It's time for the soul. So, I'm going to continue with a couple of more blocks to make the temple visible for anybody to go in themselves and realize it. I really appreciate and respect that because I think science is is the modern language to be able to really convince the mainstream. And uh and so all the studies that you have been doing and verifying scientifically what you know internally and what you've experienced in your life, that translation is so needed right now because then it can reach all walks of life. You know, a lot of people need that science to be that doorway in. So, Yes. uh that's very exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing what what comes out in the near future more. And I'll be back. Yeah. Oh, we got to have you back. Yeah. got to be back because you are my spiritual [laughter] son or brother, whatever you want to I'm there. I love you. Thank you, man. You're amazing and I feel amazing. Thank you so much. Yeah. All right, everybody. This has been a powerful episode filled with energy

a powerful episode filled with energy and I'm so curious to see how it's resonated with you. Let us know in the links down in the Let us know in the comments section below and we'll leave links in the description where you can find Wim, his work, his talks, upcoming research, all that will be linked down below. Thank you. Until next time, be well. All right, man. All right, uh It was great.

In this conversation from André Duqum, the subject is breath and cold exposure as a practical route into resilience. The language may change from teacher to teacher, but the deeper pattern is consistent: controlled stress, followed by integration, creates adaptation.

The Mechanism

Chronic inflammation often shows up as fatigue, brain fog, soreness, and slow recovery. This is the first layer. The body responds to deliberate inputs through circulation, respiration, neurochemistry, and immune signaling. When the dose is appropriate, the experience becomes information rather than punishment.

Sleep, hydration, movement, and nutrient density remain the foundation of an anti-inflammatory life. In plain language, the practice gives the system something specific to respond to. Cold can sharpen attention. Heat can soften guarded tissue and support cardiovascular load. Breath can shift the rhythm of the autonomic nervous system.

The Felt Experience

Cold, heat, and light can support recovery when they are layered onto the basics with restraint. That is why the best protocols feel both structured and humane. You are not chasing intensity for its own sake. You are teaching your body to move between effort and ease with less resistance.

The pause is part of the performance.

The Protocol Mindset

The goal is not suppression at all costs. The goal is a responsive immune system. A good session has boundaries. It asks for attention before ambition: enough heat to open, enough cold to clarify, enough breath to return, and enough recovery to absorb the signal.

Practical Takeaways

  1. Start with a dose you can repeat without bracing against it.

  2. Pair intensity with a longer exhale, quiet attention, and a deliberate finish.

  3. Track the after-effect: clarity, sleep, soreness, mood, and energy matter more than spectacle.

Words Worth Hearing

The strongest message is simple: your body is trainable. Recovery is not passive. With the right signal, repeated patiently, resilience becomes a practice you can feel.
